Melayu UK and MBNNS Signs MOU

Persatuan Masyarakat Melayu United Kingdon (Melayu UK) and Majlis Belia Negeri, Negeri Sembilan (MBNNS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding today. Relationship between both parties have strengthened since the World Malay Youth Exchange Programme organised by MBNNS in Rembau, Negeri Sembilan and Jasin, Melaka at the end of 2006. Since then a delegation of MBNNS headed by En. Khaidir Jamal, the president, has made a reciprocal visit to Melayu UK from 1 August to 7 August 2007.

The MOU was signed on 3rd August 2007, the first day of Perhimpunan Keluarga Melayu UK at Youlbury Scout Camp, Oxford. Both parties are delighted at the signing of the MOU, which re-iterates the continuing cooperation in the youth exchange program between Melayu UK and MBNNS.

The MOU further strengthens Melayu UK international networking. This is an exciting chapter in the ever increasing prominence of Melayu UK, an organisation that represents the Malays in the UK.
